Was held on Sunday, 4th July at Newfield Green Farm, Marchington Woodlands, Uttoxeter, Staffs. ST14 8PB. Report and photographs

2010 Annual General Meeting

At the Society AGM the following changes were made:

Sandy Surrell, having served her agreed term as President, stepped down; Peter Williams was elected in her place.

Alex Bennett retired from committee and as magazine editor; the new editor is Chris Wright who can be contacted on chris@cassadign.fsworld.co.uk. Please give her your support with articles, ads, photos etc.
The committee have decided to revert to having the magazine published for the January open show as the timing was popular with the members. The next edition therefore will be January 2011. We are going to publish a news sheet with current information which will be sent out with the championship show schedules.

Keith Harmer resigned as secretary due to pressure of time and work. Jane Roe is the new secretary. Jane has had Wolfhounds for about 10 years and many of you will know her from the ringside and heart testing; she is experienced in clerical work and has the necessary time available to fulfil this role. Contact Jane on janeroe1@btinternet.com or telephone 01142 883382; address 110 Manchester Road, Deepcar, Sheffield S36 2RE

Chris Amoo and Roger Tebbutt have agreed to repeat the excellent presentation they gave when the Judges Development Programme featured Wolfhounds. We also hope to have Ulli Peiler, who gives a unique insight into training hounds.

This educational seminar will take place on November 7th, when the show season ends, so something to look forward to.

Keep Your Dog Safe

More regional heart testing days set up. More

Crufts Videos

The Kennel Club now has two channels on the popular video sharing website, YouTube. The first channel which was launched prior to Crufts this year contains footage from Crufts 2008 going back to 2004. The plan is to carry on uploading the archive footage but it will take time to get it all onto YouTube. This channel can be found at http://uk.youtube.com/Crufts .

The Kennel Club channel is at http://uk.youtube.com/thekennelclub
