The 2008 Rallies
The first Rally of the year was held on Sunday 8th June 2008 at Newfield Green Farm, Marchington Woodlands, Uttoxeter, Staffs ST14 8PB.
"You always wonder what the weather is going to be like when organising outdoor events but the day couldn't have been better; the sun shone all day with a slight breeze in the afternoon, a bit warm for the dogs but the humans seemed to like it. Hose pipe was available for dowsing dogs if necessary and owners if required." More
The second Rally was held on Sunday 27th July, 2008 at Afallon, Manordeilo, Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire SA19 7BR.
"Another very successful rally was held at Manordeilo, about 65 people and lots of wolfhounds and other breeds attended. For the second year in succession the sun shone down on us. Guests were greeted on arrival with a cold glass of Bucks Fizz and Chris & Mandy soon got the games under way with the always popular sausage hunt in the grounds, followed by pass the parcel, and the sack race, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by dogs and owners alike.
