The 2007 Rally

On a bright sunny Sunday morning at 11am almost 50 members, friends and their hounds descended on Keith & Ysanne Harmer's home in West Wales for the 2007 Rally. Everyone was greeted with a welcoming glass of bucks fizz and Chris Macleod & Mandy Hawkins soon got events underway for hounds and owners with a hunt the sausages game around the grounds. This was soon folllowed by an egg and spoon race, sack race, pass the parcel and musical statues.

Ysanne had been very busy until the early hours of Sunday morning baking and preparing a delicious spread of food for everyone to enjoy during the lunchtime break in events.

Tea & home made cakes were then provided by Ysanne and her young helper Jan, before hounds and owners made their way home. Winners of the 2 bottles of wine (ticket drawn by Sue Neal) for pre-booking lunch were Bill Gracie & Jan Pain. The raffle made £54 which has been sent to the Animal Health Trust to be put towards their research into Osteosarcoma in Irish Wolfhounds.
